Mike Salamon Guide Service has 2 boats to accommodate small groups or larger groups up to 6 people.
The 18 foot Crestliner bass boat has a jet motor for shallow water operation in the Susquehanna River and smaller lakes.
The 24 foot Harris Pontoon has been fully refurbished to make the perfect fishing machine on Lake Wallenpaupack.
Both boats are fully equipped with top of the line electronics, navigation equipment and safety gear.
Over the last 25+ years, I have fished tournaments and guided for the late Bill Albright. I also have spent countless hours on the Susquehanna River and Lake Wallenpaupack with family, friends, and clients. I am a United States Coast Guard veteran and attended classes on boat handling as well as navigation during my service.
Whether its drop shotting the depths of Lake Wallenpaupack for perch and bass or simply casting crankbaits in the Susquehanna River for bass. I feel at home on the water with clients. In the winter months ice fishing is a pleasant way to combat cabin fever and is one of my favorite times to interact with clients.
All gear is provided for guided trips and instruction will be provided. I will go over casting, retrieves, reading electronics, and bait selection based on fishing conditions and level of experience of each angler. Both boats are outfitted with the necessary safety equipment for each trip.
My guide service has a lot of options on the table for anglers. Bass and panfish trips typically run all year. Family fishing or larger groups also run all year. Some trips are seasonal such as night striped bass/ walleye trips Lake Wallenpaupack (usually mid April though June) and night walleye trips (usually mid October through December). I can customize a trip to your needs and will do my best to meet or exceed your expectations!
