Description

At Barber Fishing Guide Service, all of our Lake Ozark Fishing Guides are Coast Guard Licensed Captains and insured. We offer guided Lake of the Ozark Crappie, Bass, and catfish fishing charters on comfortable and safe Bass boats and Pontoon boats. We take up to 6 anglers on Pontoon boat fishing charters and up to 3 fishermen on Bass boat charters. As the only Lake Ozark Fishing Guide Service that offers Pontoon boat fishing charters, we serve a lot of families and groups.

With ample notice we can also provide multiple boats and guides for larger groups. We provide state of the art rods, reels, tackle, lures, and bait for our customers to utilize as part of our service. We've fished Lake of the Ozarks more than 3 decades and over this time period learned how, where, when, and what Lake Ozark fish do during different seasons and how lake and weather conditions affect their behavior and bite. We teach and employ multiple techniques to help our clients catch the specific fish they want to pursue.

Most of our clients prefer to fish for Crappie and depending on time of year, water conditions, number of anglers on the charter, etc. we offer jig fishing, spider rigging, and trolling charters for Crappie. Lake of the Ozarks offers tremendous Crappie fishing during all 4 seasons.. Upon request we will filet your Crappie catch at the conclusion of your fishing charter at our comfortable and conveniently located boat dock. (5 mile marker, Lick Branch Cove) As avid Largemouth Bass fisherman, our guides also enjoy helping clients pursue and catch Lake Ozark Bass. Using our knowledge of the lake, structure, electronics, and which baits work best during specific times of the year we help our clients catch a lot of nice Bass Depending on conditions and time of year, our clients employ top water, mid water column, and bottom fishing techniques.

To preserve and protect the Lake Ozark fishery, Bass fishing is catch and release. Lake of the Ozarks is nationally renowned for its Largemouth Bass fishery and hosts numerous Bass tournaments annually. Lake of the Ozarks is also known for its tremendous catfish population. Lake Ozark has a robust population of Blue Catfish, Channel Catfish, and Flathead Catfish. Most of our catfishing clients choose to pursue Blue Catfish because of their size, ability to give anglers a good battle, a liberal daily limit, and their well appreciated taste on the table.

We offer rod and reel or jug fishing charters or a combination of both during our catfish charters. We provide cut bait and live bait for catfish charters. Our clients have landed Lake Ozark Blue Catfish in excess of 50 pounds and fish in excess of 20 pounds are common. Upon request, we also filet our client's catfish at the end of their charters.

Lake of the Ozarks also provides excellent white bass fishing. Catching White Bass when they are schooling and attacking bait fish on top of the water is an experience every angler needs to enjoy! At Lake Ozark we utilize spoons, in-line spinners, jerk baits, crank baits, and jigs to catch White Bass.
