Guide's Boat

I guide on a 17.5 foot Alumacraft boat powered by a 115HP Yahama 4 Stroke engine. The boat is equipped with a brand new 80 pound thrust Minn Kota trolling motor and 2 Helix 9 fish finder graphs. My boat setup is very wide and spacious!

My love of fishing began at a very young age. Growing up, I experienced and enjoyed all the outdoor activities that the north woods had to offer. After a single cast, I was hooked on fishing. From open water to ice fishing, you’ll find me fishing any chance I get. I enjoy fishing all the seasons and fishing for a variety of species. However everyone has their favorites and mine are crappie and muskie.

I'm Captain Fred, I own and operate Off the Hook Fishing Adventures in Northern Wisconsin. I'm licensed with the state of Wisconsin and fully insured to offer guided fishing trips on Oneida Lake, Minocqua Lake, Tomahawk Lake, Flambeau Lake and many more. Whether you're just starting out or you're a fishing expert in the Minocqua area, I can accommodate all levels of fisherman. As a full service fishing guide, I provide all the rods, reels, bait, tackle and anything we might need to put fish on your line. You don't have to worry about not being prepared since everything will be set up for you on the day of your trip. I always make sure to prepare everything, double check the boat and make sure that everything is up to date prior to your trip. I always confirm that the boat is in good condition, fish finder is working properly, all the safety equipment is on board the day before our fishing trip in Northern Wisconsin.

My half day fishing trips on Minocqua Lake, Oneida Lake and many lakes in the area are 4-6 hours long. While the full day fishing trips on Minocqua Lake, Oneida Lake, etc are 8-10 hours long depending on how long you want to stay on the water. Both the half day and full day guided fishing trips accommodate 2-3 people. While I provide a fully equipped fishing boat, safety equipment, fishing gear and even fillet your fish, there are some things you're responsible for. You have to bring a valid Wisconsin fishing license for everyone in your party, sunglasses, sunscreen, dress in layers (depending on the season), rain gear, snacks and of course something to drink to stay hydrated.
