We use both a Ranger 18' bass boat and a Lowe 22' pontoon boat. The pontoon boat gives everyone (up to 4) the chance to fish at the same time. Plus, there are amenities aboard the pontoon boat, such as a port-a-potty and a sun deck. We use the bassboat for individual anglers, especially those preferring to fish artificial lures instead of live bait.
We are located in Central Florida, relatively close to the Orlando/Disney area, Tampa and Vero Beach. We fish on the Lake Kissimmee Chain, the Winter Haven Chain of Lakes, and various lakes in the area. Our guides are all licensed and insured, with a minimum of 15 years experience. Our lead guide is the former host of TV's Southern Outdoorsman fishing show.
We offer fishing from either bassboats or pontoon boats with a porta-potty, for your pleasure and comfort. We also provide ice, sunscreen, & bottled water. We offer instruction for those not familiar with shiner fishing. A 4 hour trip begins begins at approximately 7:00 a.m., or first light, and you will actually fish for 4 hours and come in shortly after 11:00 a.m. (depending upon how long it takes to get to your fishing spot). All equipment, lessons, a cooler with ice and bottled water are included. You may bring other beverages and/or snacks. We suggest wearing a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, and on cool mornings, a light jacket might be preferred. After fishing for 4 hours, your bass fishing guide will bring you back to the location where you met that morning. At that time you will pay the guide for your day(s) trip(s), plus bait.
We also take pictures, in case you forgot your camera. Non-fishing riders are free. Thanks for your interest and we hope to get you out on the water “reel” soon.
