Steel Dreams Guide Service offers full day guided trips on the Snake River, Clearwater River and Columbia River for Steelhead, Salmon, Sturgeon, Walleye and Smallmouth Bass. Steel Dreams Guide Service has a full lineup of professional full time guides with over 80 years combined experience. Our guides will provide you with the best fishing experience in the Pacific Northwest. We're licensed fishing guides with strong guiding experience on Snake River, Columbia River and Clearwater River.

We primarily guide on our 24-26 foot aluminum jet sleds. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced angler, we accommodate both. With over 80 years of combined fishing experience, you can be rest assured we'll take you to the best fishing spots on Snake River and Columbia River quickly and safely. The owner of Steel Dreams is Adam Hocking. Adam holds a 25 ton United States Coast Guard Master License, is fully insured and has nearly 20 years of professional guiding experience. His focus is to offer you a fishing experience you'll always remember. Since his family has been fishing the Pacific Northwest waters for generations, Adam naturally developed a passion for fishing and deep knowledge of the local waters.

The best time to catch Steelhead on Snake River is between mid-September to February, while the best time to catch Steelhead on Clearwater River is mid-October to March. During these times, catching about 20 Steelhead is common. They're fun, beautiful and taste great! We find that the best fishing technique for Steelhead on Snake and Clearwater River is using a side drifting bait. To catch Sturgeon on upper Snake River, the best time to fish is between April and September. While it's rewarding to catch one, they're catch and release only.

If you want to fish for smallmouth bass on Snake River, we prefer to fish during the months of April to September. On these type of fishing trips, you can experience non-stop action. The best time to catch walleye on Snake River is February to July. While the best time to target Trophy Walleye (over 10 pounds), is March through May. For walleye fishing, we prefer to leave out of Lyons Ferry. The best time to fish for Chinook Salmon on Snake River is September and October, while on Columbia River it's August. However, if you want to fish for Chinook Salmon on Clearwater River, the best time is May through June.
