Hello, this is Kevin Moriarty, Owner & Guide, of Top Water Trips. I've been Self-Employed & Guiding since 2018 and am Licensed & Insured in Pennsylvania. I love to fish it all. We have a Jet Boat for the Schuylkill River where we fish for Smallmouth, Carp & Catfish. We also have Guided Fly Fishing Trips & Lessons on the Manatawny, Little Schuylkill River, & Tulpechocken Creek. But one of my favorites is a Kayak Float down the Schuylkill during the Summer for Smallmouth. So, whether it's the middle of the night and we are catfishing or throwing early morning dries in the Spring we have just about every trip available in the area.

I've been fishing the Schuylkill River Watershed since I was 12 and spend every chance I get getting to know them better and better. There's always some new to learn out on the water and each day we are out there we get the chance to refine technique and bait selection to improve our chances of bringing fish to the boat or net. We make no judgments or requirements about Spin, Fly, Carp Fishing, or Live Bait Fishing. We just love to catch fish in any possible way that is both legal & ethical.

A variety of training is important to becoming a Guide. Becoming a Pennsylvania Guide requires no extra qualification beyond Insurance & First Aid/CPR. But, I wanted more training as a Fly Fishing Guide & instructor, so I went to Guide School on the Bighorn River out West. It was an extremely important experience to become a Fishing Guide in Pennsylvania.
