On any of my Missouri fishing trips, I include fishing rods, lures, flies, and tackle. I can also guide you on how to best use your own fly fishing gear. On one of my guided wade fishing trips, we'll cover how to read streams, find fish, understand their habits and diet, catch and handle them safely for a healthy return to the stream. I can even show and teach you how to correctly fillet and clean the fish we catch (as long as it's legal to do so). If you choose to keep some fish from your trip, I can also share some local recipes. You must purchase and obtain a Missouri fishing license and a trout stamp prior to our trip. If you're hiring me as a fishing guide for a guided wading trip on, you need to bring your own waders.
Other than wade fishing trips, I also offer up to 2 person guided kayak fishing trips on Lake Taneycomo, Meramec River, Eleven Point River, Mill Creek, Spring Creek, Crane Creek and many other Missouri streams in the area. Our guided kayak trout fishing trips in Missouri are full day only (no half day trips). Lunch and bottled water will be provided during your trip. The fishing kayak I use is known as a stable kayak, so you can comfortably stand and fish directly off it. The kayaking equipment, rods, reels and tackle is all included on your trip. You'll be guided by 2 experienced kayak fishing guides who will lead and follow you to ensure your safety at all times.
